Over 400 children had a bikertot session last academic year across various lower school across Bedfordshire from Reception to year 2. BOOK YOUR SESSIONS NOW!!
Are you a school or educational setting with young children? Then why not broaden their education and have Bikertots deliver balance bike sessions to your school.
Courses can vary from taster sessions to a few sessions over a few weeks, half term, term or school year.
Costing can be funded through sporting money, PP money, PSA or parent donations. We can be used to help with PPA time taking out some of the class with a HTA with the remainder.
The sessions are suitable from age 2 years upwards and are delivered by a balanceability trained coach with experience in schools. Having already been to many lower and middle schools delivering Go-Ride sessions and Bikeability training the coach has now extended her training to encompass younger children and deliver Balanceability sessions as well.
Children have their sessions either out on the playground or indoors if there is enough space. Up to about 10 children can be taught in one session. Sessions usually last 30 minutes so a whole class can be involved over an afternoon.
Bikertots are also very flexible so some schools have had 60 children in an afternoon each gaining 15 minutes experience with others having Biikerots in for a whole day and sending children every 30 or 40 minutes.
All children who take part will receive a sticker each session and possibly a certificate at various points, depending on their length of programme.
All equipment is provided including balance bikes, bike helmets and balance equipment.
